As posted in the Source Sought Synopsis HSCG40-13-S-00023, entitled; "WARTSILA" dated 03/11/2013, the U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Long Range Enforcer (LRE) Product Line, will be issuing a solicitation for the purchase of Wartsila seals and parts used onboard various USCG platforms to include the Long Range Enforcer (LRE), Medium Endurance Cutter (MEC), Patrol Boats and Polar Class Cutters. It is anticipated that requirements contract with firm fixed delivery orders, containing one (1) base year and four (4) option Years will be awarded using the procedures outlined in FAR Part 15.101-2.

It is the Government's intent to solicit this requirement under NAICS 339991. This requirement must be completed utilizing only genuine WARTSILA parts from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Remanufactured or Aftermarket parts are not acceptable.

The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps on or about May 20, 2013. This date is estimated at best, and it is the contractor's responsibility to monitor FedBizOpps on a regular basis for the solicitation and any amendments.
