The USCG has a requirement, on a sole sources basis, to Wärtsilä Defense, Inc. for the mechanical seals and repair kits to support the various class vessels across Coast Guard used onboard the 420' WAGB, 418' WMSL, 378' WHEC, 295' WIX, 270' WMEC, 210' WMEC, 240 WLBB, 225' WLB, 175' WLM, 140' WTGB, 110', 87' WPB, 75'/65' WLIC / WLR and 47' MLB. The period of performance will include one (1) 12-month base ordering period with four (4) 12-month ordering periods. It is the government's intention to solicit and negotiate solely with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Wärtsilä Defense Inc., 3617 Koppens Way, Chesapeake, VA., 23423, using the procedures established in FAR Parts 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Parts 15, Contracting by Negotiation.
