Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A)&(B), the Department of Commerce (DOC)/Enterprise Services intends to negotiate a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to purchase Communication Daily News from Warren Communication News, Inc. in the amount of $94,550.00 for a twelve-month base year and (4) four consecutive option years. Warren Communication News Inc is the sole provider for the Communication Daily News newsletter. Transitioning to different newsletter license would require new license purchases which would result in cost overruns and project delays, preventing the National Telecommunications Information Administration from meeting project sponsor deadlines.

The intent of this notice is not to request competitive proposals, and any information received from interested parties will only be considered solely for determining whether a competitive procurement should be conducted. However, interested parties may submit a description of their firm's capabilities for satisfying this requirement, which demonstrates they possess the ability to successfully perform this effort.
