The Tongass National Forest wishes to lease vehicles of several classes including 4x2 one half Ton Standard Cap pick-up trucks, 4x4 full-Size SUV, 6-Pack or Suburban vehicles, and three quarter Ton Stake Side Flat Bed Trucks for periods of 1 to 5 months for delivery at 5 different locations and use throughout the Tongass National Forest. Multiple awards by vehicle class and delivery location are anticipated for a base period of May 1 to September 30, 2007 with an option to extend the term to include the period May 1, 2008 to September 30, 2008. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about November 6, 2006 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254.
