The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 17 Network Contracting Activity, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract with Brain Research and Development 19 Hartom Jerusalem, FG 97775 for leasing of a Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulator. Location is the Olin E. Teague Veterans Medical Center 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive Temple, Texas 76504-7451. NAICS 339112 applies. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C.253 (c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). The required services will be a single award, firm-fixed price contract with the target Period of Performance September 1, 2015 - August 31, 2016, with 1 Option Period and shall be effective for the term of the contract. If the Contractor fails to perform in a manner satisfactory to the CO, this lease contract may be canceled with thirty (30) days written notice to the Contractor by the CO. This lease contract shall be reviewed annually. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available.
