This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation W911S2-05-T-0012 is issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures specified in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Furnish and deliver the following items: CLIN 0001: Rental of five (5), 5 Ton, 2-Wheel Drive, Stake Rack Trucks to transport ammunition to and from the ranges, for the time period 16 Dec 04 thru 19 Mar 05. CLIN 0002: Tire Chains for each truck, 5 Sets. CLIN 0003: Mileage for each truck, Cost per mile. CLIN 0004: Charge per Service Call as needed. Vehicle maintenance facility must be within 90 miles of Fort Drum, NY. NOTE: ALL VEHICLES WILL BE USED OFF ROAD ON OCCASION. FOB delivery will be to Fort D rum, NY.
