This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement along with Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number Q1143080008 constitutes the entire solicitation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-21. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. Responses are due on or before January 9, 2008. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532299 and the related small business size standard is $6.5 million in average annual receipts. The National Park Service has a requirement for a public address system and staging for Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site for an Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Kickoff Event on February 12, 2008. Due to space limitations, the complete Commercial Item Specifications are contained in RFQ Number Q1143080008. Interested Contractors should download this document. Delivery and installation of public address system equipment and staging must start on February 10, 2008 and be completed on February 12, 2008 with project tear down the afternoon of February 12, 2008. An on-site meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, 12:00 PM at Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site, 2995 Lincoln Farm Road, Hodgenville, Kentucky 42748. Attendance at this on-site meeting is recommended for all potential offerors.
