INVITATION TO BID Vocational Training Adams and Associates, Inc., contracting for the U.S. Department of Labor, for the operation of the Woodstock Job Corps Center, a 500 student residential training facility located at 10900 Old Court Road, Woodstock, Maryland is currently soliciting written proposal/ bids for a cost-reimbursement subcontract to provide Vocational Training in Business Clerical, Retail Sales, Welding and Advanced Culinary Arts Programs. The Contractor shall provide on-site instruction in Business Clerical, Retail Sales and Welding at the Center. Off-site instruction shall be provided to our Advanced Culinary Arts Program. Instruction shall be provided in accordance with provisions set forth in the USDOL Contract, the Policy and Requirements Handbook (PRH) and Company operating procedures and handbooks utilizing Job Corps-developed curriculum, program instructions, Training Achievement Records (TAR’s) and based upon the Contractor’s Continuing Education Curriculum for the Business Clerical, Retail Sales, Welding and Advanced Culinary Arts vocational skills trades. Instruction will utilize a self-paced, open entry/open exit format for Business Clerical, Retail Sales and Welding. A Pre Bid Meeting is schedule for April 1, 2009 at 2:00pm, here at the Woodstock Job Corps Center.
