The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue a solicitation for the provision of Vocational HVAC/Welding Programs for the inmate population of the Federal Correctional Institution-La Tuna located in Anthony, Texas. The contract period shall consist of the Effective Date of Award through 12 months from the Effective Date of Award and four 12 month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. The requirement will be for post-secondary vocational training or industry-based school that will be responsible for providing instruction in HVAC and/or Welding as part of a Sustainability Training program. Successful completion of the college course(s) must qualify inmates for at least entry-level employment in a specified field upon release. The solicitation will be available on or about November 30, 2016 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
