Solicitation N0042117Q0166 is issued as an intent to sole source.   The Government under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for FAR Part 13 intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis for Versa Module Eurocard (VME) Single Board Computers(SBE) with Concurrent Technologies, INC., under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b).  Concurrent maintains proprietary rights to technical data required to manufacture the required equipment. The VME SBC by Concurrent have already been approved, any deviation from this approved baseline would require an Engineering change Proposal and time consuming development of a new design process.

This procurement is a total set-aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6.

Offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov.

The Government intends to award this on a sole source basis.  All interested parties MUST submit their capabilities and a quote to Olive Rogers at [email protected] no later than 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time 08-JUNE-2017. 

Award will be made on an all or nothing basis.  The Government will make a decision to consider other offers.  A determination by the Government not to compete this contract based upon response to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received. All other information is in the attached RFQ.

Offerors must complete the attached certification in Section K of this solicitation, 52.209-11, Representation by Corporations Regarding Delinquent Tax Liability or a Felony Conviction under any Federal Law. Please provide the completed certification with your offer.
