The Contractor shall upgrade the VME Part-Taks Trainer by performing the following:

Update the design adding SSI Inc #1 VME 64 including positive insertion indication capabilities and document design IAW with the OD 36763 REV 4 and WWTS HCMP.

Prepare a SPALT and deliver the required SPALTkits to Kings Bay TTF and Bangor TTF.

Install the SPALT using contractor resident on-site support personnel

Shall convene a one week SSI #1 overview training session and deliver the completion report.

Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA.  GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.  See Note 22.*****
