The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to the Vitrocell Systems to purchase Vitrocell Exposure System.
The Vitrocell System have the exposure module (one of several components) of the Vitrocell systems GmbH Exposire system (herein instrument) capable of delivering nanmaterials and nanoparticles to in vitro tissue culture. The complete VitroCell Systems GmbH Ali system has been utilized in research published in numerous high impact scientific journals.
The current project project is built on the data base created from the previous projects conducted by his research group. The contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotitate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.30-1 and 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capabiity to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competttive procurement.
