The Billings Area Indian Health Service, Wind River Service Unit, Ft. Washakie Wyoming intends to award a non-competitive contract on a sole-source base under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 to BIOMERIEUX, Inc. 595 Anglum Dr. Hazel Wood MO. 63042 for Preventative Maintenance on Two VITEK 2 COMPACT 15W/PC & OBSERVA located at the Ft. Washakie Health Center, Ft. Washakie Wyoming and at the Arapahoe Health Center, Arapahoe Wyoming and only known vendor certified to preform the work. The Purchase Order shall consist of a 12 month period. Any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the contracting Officer by September 26, 2014 by 1:30 pm. Supporting evidence must be furnishes in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with requirements listed and show that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement bases upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future, if no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source acquisition to BIOMERIEUX, Inc.
