This acquisition will cover Visor's, Flyer's Helmet, NSN 8475-01-537-1540 / Gentex P/N 97427-04D11873-9, 240 units and NSN 8475-01-537-1549 / Gentex P/N 97427-04D11873-3, 495 units. This acquisition will be issued on an unrestricted basis. First Article Testing in not required. All material is to be contractor furnished.
Delivery is FOB Destination and the destinations are New Cumberland, PA and Tracy, CA. Production lead time is 120 after award date at a rate of 240 units per month for NSN 8475-01-537-1540 and 250 units per month for NSN 8475-01-537-1549. Inspection and Acceptance at Origin.

The estimated solicitation release date is 11/23/2010.
