In accordance with FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole-source purchase order to Abbott Russia in Moscow, Russia to provide Viral Hepatitis Reagent Kit and accessories that have been proven very reliable and sensitive and have become a core of many Viral Hepatitis testing studies. Abbott Russia would greatly enhance the establishment of CDC New reference Laboratory at the "Primorsky Kray Diagnostic Center in Moscow, Russia. These Viral Kits work with Abbott test equipment already available at Primorsky Kray Diagnostic Center. Also these kits are CE marked (European quality standard) and have Registration Certificate from the Russian Ministry of Health. Abbott Russia meets all technical specifications and does not require addition shipping costs and shipment time. Interested parties who feel that they possess the capabilities to provide the services described above should submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to provide the services. The information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
