This combined synopsis / solicitation is a "Request for Quotation" and is NOT set-aside for small business. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-61.

This is a "Brand Name or Equal" requirement in accordance with FAR 52.211-6.

The evaluation process to be used is "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable" in accordance with FAR 15.101-2.

This is an "Open Market" requirement. The Government intends to award one firm-fixed-price "Purchase Order" as result of this solicitation. If an offeror submits a quotation based upon an FSS or GWAC contract, the Government will accept the quoted price. However, the terms and conditions stated herein take precedence in any resultant Purchase Order, not the terms and conditions of the offeror's FSS or GWAC Contract.

The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339111, with a small business size standard of 500 employees.

This is a consolidated requirement. The Government intends to award TWO individual "Purchase Orders" as a result of this combined synopsis / solicitation.

The North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office, North is seeking to purchase TWO VIMEDIX Ultrasonography Simulators with the components described in this combined synopsis / solicitation. All interested companies are asked to provide a quotation/offer for the items listed herein.
