This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for Solicitation 149136 for a SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT.           The Government intends to negotiate a fixed price type contract for the acquisition of a Video Sectral Comparator.     The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334516.    

**PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the services as detailed above. Responses may only be sent via e-mail to [email protected]. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.     A determination by the US Secret Service not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the US Secret Service. If the USSS Procurement office has not received any information from other interested parties that would justify the use of full and open competition for this requirement by 1200 hours EST on 25 April 2008, a Sole Source contract with Foster & Freemen is intended to be issued.
