Solicitation Title: VFD Maintenance and Repair
NAICS Code: 238210 for "Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors"
NIST is seeking a contractor for an contract for full service maintenance, repair and testing of variable-frequency drive (VFD) systems.
The vendor is responsible for supplying a technician on all equipment provided in the equipment list. Full service maintenance is defined as all service, repairs, inspections and testing necessary to maintain all VFDs in a fully operational mode. Technicians must be able to inspect, maintain, upgrade, repair/replace and to respond to any event of unit failure in a rapid manner. The company shall ensure that it's employees are qualified electrical personnel familiar with the hazards involved with installing operating and servicing Variable Frequency Drives. Qualified electrical personnel shall be authorized by the manufacture to install, service and operate equipment listed.
This is a Sources Sought ONLY not a Request for Proposals (RFP) and does not commit the Government to award a contract now or in the future. The purpose of this sources sought is to identify organizations with the requisite qualifications to provide the services stated herein. All business organizations (SB SDB, Large, WOSB, HUBZone, VOSB and SDVOSB) are encouraged to respond to this notice.
Interested, capable vendors/parties shall submit a capability statement in response to this Sources Sought Notice, including, at a minimum, the following:
1. Ability to repair VFD systems.
2. Ability to develop a PMI plan.
3. Key personnel for services.
