The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Motorola Solutions, Inc. 2100 Progress Parkway, Schaumburg, IL 60196 for the renewal Vesta Communicator Software Support. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-19425, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 511210 with a business size standard of $41,500,000.00. A quote is being requested under solicitation no. DJF-21-1100-PR-0000592. This will be a fixed price contract for a12 month base period and two 12-month option periods. Based on FBI market research, it has been determined that Motorola Solutions, Inc.’s Vesta Communicator is the only source to meet the FBI requirement and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. Motorola Solutions, Inc. does not have any authorized resellers capable of providing the required software support. The proposed contract action is for support for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of TLE 41,usc (c)(1). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
