This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The office of National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration, Southwest Fisheries Science Center located in La Jolla, CA has a requirement for a vessel charter to conduct juvenile shark longline survey in the waters off Southern California. The purpose of the survey is to examine the relative abundance and size of juvenile shortfin mako and blue sharks in the Southern California Bight. This is a firm- fixed price contract, period of performance is from June 1, 2008 to July 15, 2008. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen days of publication date of this notice.
