This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation PR1300102692 is issued as a request for quote and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-25. This solicitation shall be awarded on a sole source basis to PRESAGIS INC, Richardson TX as the sole supplier of the Vega Prime products. The NAICS Code for solicitation is 541511, with a size standard not to exceed 1000 employees. This solicitation sets forth the requirements for providing commercial off-the-shelf Vega Prime plug-ins. The purchase will consist of one (1) Vega Prime Marine Effects (VPME) Plug-in, one (1) Large Area Database Management (LADM) plug-in display, and one year annual support for each plug-in. These plug-ins will be used to handle paging the Visual Database in real time to produce a 60HZ update rate. The base or core Vega Prime product is already being used on the Landing Aircraft Cushion. (LCAC) program. Award will be made in the form of a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The anticipated award date is May 19, 2008. The Government intends to pay using Wide Area Work Flow. (WAWF).
