The Virginia Contracting Activity intends to solicit and negotiate a one (1) year contract with MagicSoft Corporation (CAGE Code: 7FJ68) for upgrade of this firm's VC Wizard, a video conferencing, scheduling and management solution, to support Windows 2012 Server, automated back-up development, automated failover system and activation of reporting and billing features. MagicSoft Corporation is the manufacturer of VC Wizard.

Market research indicates that no other source can provide the required services.

The contemplated 1-year contract will be established under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, per se; however, any responsible source, which believes itself capable of meeting the requirement, may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency, if received by the closing date/time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of Government.

Description of Supplies or Services:

The objective is to upgrade the current version of VC Wizard to Windows 2012 Server, virtualize the application and activate billing and reporting features. Support for Microsoft SQL Server will be developed and implemented. An automated failover system for all services to the back-up servers will be developed and implemented.
