The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific intends to make a sole source award to Terumo Cardiovascular Systems Corporation for a blanket purchase agreement for Terumo various cardio thoracic supplies for Government-owned CATSmart Autotransfusion System at Tripler Army Medical Center. Note: This requirement was previously posted as a sources sought notice under solicitation number W81K0220Q0008.
The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirement under FAR 5.201 and 5.203. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date.
