The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Research Triangle Park, NC intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Varian NMR System, Columbia, MD 21045, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1)--Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This purchase is for (1) each of the following items: 1) Maintenance Contract on UI600-10920 NMR System. Provide parts and labor for corrective maintenance of complete Cold Probe System and probes plus scheduled maintenance for Premium Cryogenic System Service. Effective date: 7/31/08-7/30/09.
