The United States Government intends to solicit and award with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source. The Government intends to solicit and award a purchase order to VJ Technologies., 89 Carlough Road, Bohemia, New York 11716 for the replacement of the current Varex M9 linear accelerator and to integrate it with the current VJ Technologies system controllers and software.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

The place of performance is: McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP), McAlester OK. Shipping for the linear accelerator shall be FOB destination. MCAAP’s truck shipments are only accepted Monday through Thursday (no shipments will be accepted on government holidays) from 6:30 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. All shipments and deliveries must be at the main gate (truck gate) on or before 3:00 P.M.

This Notice of Intent is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as a Request for Quote or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research or otherwise pay for information solicited. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this notice. Responses to the notice will not be returned.
