Vance Street Parking Lot Project The Vance Street Parking Lot bid includes, but is not limited to, all labor, materials, and incidental items associated with new parking lot construction. Construction will include 2072 LF of new curb and gutter, 915 SY of asphalt parking lot, storm drainage, and associated sidewalk. All elements of work not included in the bid schedule shall be considered incidental to the contract with no further payment provided. (hereinafter “Contract Work”). No oral interpretations will be made as to the meaning of the Contract Documents. Interpretation, if deemed necessary, will be in the form of a written Addendum. Contract Documents are available from the Town of Fuquay-Varina Engineering Department at 134 North Main Street, Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina 27526. The Contractors submitting a bid for this project must possess the proper license classification to perform the Work elements contained in the specifications in accordance with North Carolina General Statutes; and if selected, provide a copy of their active license to the Owner. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
