Ivy Tech Valparaiso Campus is seeking bids for Welding Lab Exhaust System Project. Scope of work includes but not limited the following: 1. Remove existing fume extraction / exhaust system. 2. Install a new fume extraction system for all welding booths. 3. Install dust/fume extraction system for the grinding stations (to be configured in two separate rooms adjacent to the welding lab). 4. Modify the existing fresh air system to function effectively at the reduced makeup airflow. 5. Electrical modifications to support the new exhaust system. An optional but highly recommended Pre-Bid Meeting/Site Visit Walkthrough will be held on Tuesday, 2/27/2024 at 10 A.M. CST at Ivy Tech Community College, located at 3100 Ivy Tech Dr Valparaiso, Indiana 46383. Participants should meet at in the lobby.
