The General Services Administration (GSA) New England Region, Acquisition Branch is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment​ testing​ and supervision for renovation and realignment of approximately 34,600 square feet ​of space currently occupied by the Veteran's Administration Regional Office, (VARO) at the John F. Kennedy Federal Building in Boston, MA.

 

This procurement is a Set­ aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SBVOSB).

 

 The estimated cost is between $5,000,000 to $10,000,000.

 

The NAICS code is 236220.The Small Business Size standard is $36.5 MILLION.

 

The construction contractor shall provide all necessary management, supervision, labor,​materials,  equipment and ​ testing for the renovation of 34,600 SF of space  currently occupied by the Veteran's Administration Regional Office, (VARO) at the John F. Kennedy Federal Building in Boston, MA.

 The work shall include​  but is not limited to: ​Selective Demolition, Carpentry, Millwork, Finishes, ​ ​Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing,​Tel/Data. Security, Access Control and ​Life Safety​.​ The solicitation will be released on or about August 2, 2018 with proposals due date on or about September 4, 2018. 

 

 A pre­-proposal site visit is scheduled for August 9, 2018. The period of performance is estimated to be approximately 550 calendar days and the completion of work is anticipated to be about May 15, 2020.

 

Technical documents will be available through the secure website via a direct link from FEDBIZOPPS. Offerors are responsible for printing the RFP and all related documents. It is also the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for release of the RFP and amendments and any related information.
