NOTICE OF INTENT. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2 intends to solicit and award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price, Requirements contract with Crest Transportation Services, Inc. (940 Remsen Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11236-1625) in accordance with 41 U.S.C. ยง 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.5, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The contract anticipated effective date is September 7, 2021 for an eight-month ordering period.
This contract is for the 24-hour ambulance services to transport eligible beneficiaries of the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System (southern tier) for medical services, primarily at the Manhattan Campus and the St. Albans Community Living Center. Ambulance services are for basic life support (BLS), staffed with non-emergency attendant/drivers, and advance life support (ALS), staffed with paramedics, ALS-trained registered nurse and/or certified emergency medical technician.
The NAICS code is 621910, Ambulance Services with a small business size standard of $16.5 Million.
