The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Presidio of Monterey has a requirement for a vehicle towing & storage agreement in support of military students and personnel stationed at the U.S. Army Garrison at the Presidio of Monterey and La Mesa Family Housing located in Monterey, CA and at the Ord Military Community located in Seaside, CA.

The purpose of this Sources Sought notification is to conduct market research to gather information in determining if interested and responsible sources are available to meet the requirements of this procurement. In no way should this Sources Sought be construed to be a Request for Quote or a Request for Proposal.

The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 488410, which has corresponding Size Standard of $7.5 M. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your business status.

The requirement shall be to have an agreement in place when there is a need by the Presidio of Monterey Police Department for towing. If the vehicles are not claimed after 120 days from the date notification was mailed to the last known owner OR lien holder or the owner releases the vehicle in accordance with applicable laws, the vehicle may be disposed of in accordance with the California Lien Sales procedures.
