This solicitation was previously cancelled and has now been reopened. Furnish flight services fully contractor operated and maintained consisting of one airplane, Cessna 185, Cessna, 206, or equal, in support of fire and resource management activities, aerial observation and logistical support carrying passengers and/or cargo. Service is for Bureau of Land Management, Alaska Fire Service. Contract period is 60 days beginning April 29, 2003. Designated base is Ft. Wainwright, Alaska. The term of this contract will be one year with options to renew for an additional three years. Certification under 14 CFR and Chapter 135, Air Taxi Operations and Commercial Operators is required.
