Rental of one Aero Commander 690A, high-wing multi-engine turbine aircraft, with auxiliary fuel tanks, for an aerial photo mission of Steller Sea Lions in the Aleutian Island Chain. The Vendor will have a Part 135 Operating Certificate. This survey is expected to start June 10, 2004 and end approximately June 26, 2004. An estimated 80 flight hours is projected with normal missions of 8-10 hours. This aircraft will be fully Vendor operated using a pilot and co-pilot who have Alaska marine mammal survey experience. The aircraft and pilots will be approved for low-level activities (Supplement #6) and Marine Mammal Survey in Alaska (Supplement #18) under the Alaska Aircraft Rental Agreement. Beyond equipment noted in Supplement #18, a mount for a 5-inch format camera to be used in a belly camera port, radar altimeter and an iridium phone connected to ICS.
