This Sources Sought Notice is to inform vendors that the Government intends to award the following services with a period of performance of 20 AUG 2012 - 26 OCT 2012. NAICS Code: 484220, business size standard: $25.5M.

Provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, materials, labor and transportation necessary to truck and haul a minimum of 15,000 gallons of non-potable water to Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) on the Island of Hawaii. Perform all work in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Standards, and current Federal, and State laws and regulations.

The Contractor shall utilize products and materials made from biobased materials (e.g. biobased cleaners, biobased degreasers) to the maximum extent practical without jeopardizing the intended end user detracting from the overall quality delivered to the end user.

Contractor shall provide and install water tanks to hold a capacity of 20,000 gallons of water. Water tanks shall be "lifted up" type. Open top tanks are acceptable and capable of being raised safely to service construction water trucks. Must be capable of distributing stored water via gravity feed into the construction road water tanker.

Contractor shall provide the following water service: truck, haul and deliver a minimum of 15,000 gallons of non potable water daily. The authorized water availability point is at Waimea town (about 30 miles away). Contractor shall provide a level sensor to monitor level of the tanks.
