This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are bei ng requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The SIC is 7011. This solicitation serves as the Request for Quotation for lodging services in the Fort Monmouth NJ area. Scheduled time frame is: Item 0001: Lodging for 65 personnel from 5 Jan 0 4 to 16 April 04. All responding sources must include their approximate distance, in miles, to the front gate of Fort Monmouth. Provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers-Commercial and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items apply. Award will be based on the best value to the Government, which includes room rate, room tax rate, extended stay facilities such as in-room refrigerator, coffee port, microwave, telephone w/data port, iron/ironing board, on-site restaurant, and reas onable commuting distance to and from Fort Monmouth. The Government reserves the right to shift lodging dates and/or cancel completely NLT 5 days prior to the start date. Payment shall be based on occupancy only. Offerors need to include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 (ALT I), Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer (registered in the Central Contractor Registration, DUNS Number, Cage Code, and Tax ID Number).
