Description:
a. This is a fixed unit price Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract for the local drayage of US Government-owned AFH/UPH (Army Family Housing/Unaccompanied Personnel Housing) furnishings in the contract area of performance.
b. The transportation of Government-owned furnishings when transported with personal property is excluded from the scope of this contract.
c. The non-personal services to be rendered shall consist of the following: assembly, disassembly, transfer, pick up or delivery of Government owned furnishings to or from either Government controlled housing, private rental housing or other Government facilities within a maximum 500 KM radius of the Furnishings Support Center (FSC)/Warehouse.
d. Required services are stated and ordered in cubic meters (CM) by area of performance. One (1) cubic meter is equal to 35.3 cubic feet.
e. The travel to and from the U.S. Government warehouse before the start and after the completion of work will not be included in the computation of the traveled distance.
f. The minimum guaranteed amount for the basic year (and each option year when exercised) is 5,000.

Scope of Work - The contractor shall provide all personnel, trucks, equipment, (power and non-power) tools, materials, supervision, supplies and services necessary to provide local drayage services to the Central Furnishings Office (LIVORNO) for Government-owned Army Family Housing (AFH)/ Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (UPH) furnishings as stated in this PWS. The normal hours that services will be performed are from 0800 to 1700 each workday. All routine services identified on the daily task orders will be completed during normal hours. This includes returning all Government generated paperwork with identified notes and signatures, returning keys of Government quarters and offloading and replacement of furniture items at Government warehouses. The place of performance for this contract is within 500 km.
