The Department of the Treasury, Bureau of the Public Debt on behalf of the African Development Foundation intends to award a sole source contract to LaPalm Royal Beach Hotel, No. 1 La-By–Pass Road, Accra, Ghana for a training seminar that will be held between May 3 and May 21, 2005 in Accra, Ghana. These services include: 1) A dedicated conference center, a main conference room that provides sufficient space, round tables and seating for 50+ ADF participants, a pull down screen for Power Point presentations and space for audio equipment to support translation services provided by a logistics planner. The conference room is required May 9-13 and May 16-20. Conference package to provide for morning and afternoon refreshments (snack and beverage) for the dates of May 9-13 and May 16-20, with lunch to be included on May 9, 16, and 20 for 50+ attendees. 2) Three break-out rooms for group exercises, training, and discussions that will be held between May 9–13 and May 16-19. The breakout rooms must have tables and chairs for 15-20 participants and space for a presenter. 3) A business center that provides computer and Internet access, printers, copier (on an as needed basis – cost per page) and fax capability between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. daily. 4) Provide a secretariat room that can accommodate space and electrical outlets to support seminar equipment and one line for fax and telephone capability with the option for Internet capability for the period of May 8-21. 5) May 6-7 -Pre-seminar set-up services with one pre-conference meeting with hotel staff and the ADF logistic coordinator. 6) Guest rooms with Internet access in 15-25% of the rooms) in the following estimated quantities: May 4 – 3 rooms, May 5 – 3 rooms, May 6 – 8 rooms, May 7 – 41 rooms, May 8 – 45 rooms, May 9 – 46 rooms, May 10 – 44 rooms, May 11 – 44 rooms, May 12 – 44 rooms, May 13 – 44 rooms, May 14 – 45 rooms, May 15 – May 45 rooms, May 16 – 45 rooms, May 17 – 45 rooms, May 18 – 45 rooms, May 19 – 36 rooms, May 20 – 29 rooms, May 21 – 1 room. 7) Day rooms (which may turn into regular rooms) for the following estimated quantities: May 10 – 2 rooms, May 19 – 9 rooms, and May 20 – 4 rooms. 8) Extended check-out at day-room rates on the final day of the seminar. 9) Provide a broad selection of on-site restaurants capable of serving the cuisine requirements of all seminar attendees. 10) Provide for a workshop reception for 50+ attendees on Sunday, May 8 (to include light hors d’oeuvres and beverages).NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE.
