Vessel(s) Required: U.S. flag self-sustaining, non-cellular containership with a RO/RO ramp. When configured to carry containers, the vessel must be capable of carrying a minimum of 600 TEUs of ammunition (HAZMAT class 1.1 – 1.6, with an average weight of 15 tons). When configured to carry rolling stock, the vessel must be capable of carrying a minimum of 60,000 sq. ft. of cargo. The RO/RO ramp shall have a minimum safe working load (SWL) of 60 tons. Minimum required speed is 15 knots laden in moderate weather. Maximum laden draft is 8 meters and maximum LOA is 600 feet.
