The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSCPAC) intends to award a cost plus fixed-fee (CPFF) contract to Oceaneering International, Inc, 7001 Dorsey Rd, Hanover, MD 21076. Efforts to be provided under this contract include technical support services, materials and travel to develop two operational prototypes of an Unmanned Undersea Vehicle (UUV) that incorporates an enhanced payload and sensor suite to conduct maritime operations The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). A determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the decision of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
