The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a sole-source firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-16-G-0001 with The Boeing Company (Boeing) of St. Louis, Missouri 63166 for the procurement of seventy (70) USSR RMMs developed under ECP 6318. Deliveries will commence in 2017. The projected contract action is for supplies and/or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation document exists. Boeing is the designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft in its various configurations; and as such, is the only known firm with the knowledge, experience, and technical expertise required to accomplish this effort. This is an announcement only regarding a sole source acquisition.
