The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a sole-source firm fixed price order with The Boeing Company (Boeing) of St. Louis, Missouri 63166 for the procurement of fifteen (15) Upgraded Solid State Recorder (USSR) Removable Memory Modules (RMMs) developed under ECP 6318. Deliveries will commence in 2017. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1.  This award is based on Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), whereby the supplies or services required are available from only one source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  Boeing is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and supplier of the F/A-18 A-D and EA-18G aircraft and is uniquely qualified to provide the complete range of program support required by the Fleet.  As such they are the only known firm with the knowledge, experience and technical expertise required to accomplish this effort.  Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact The Boeing Company directly.
