STATEMENT OF WORK:
Provide the services from a qualified Vendor to provide the following TAH Class ship ADG and EDG Local Control and Alarm Panels. TALT TAH-375 applies.
1. SENSORS PANELS
Fabricate new Sensor Panels. Provide and install new sensors. A calibration fitting and valve will be installed on each sensor, for ease of calibration. Each sensor will be clearly labeled, including the setpoints and/or range.
Provide new Sensors as replacement of the old pressure switches. Where redundancy is required by the regulatory agency, a transmitter and a pressure switch or a second transmitter shall be provided.
Known Pressure Sensors:
1. Lube Oil Pressure before engine
2. Lube Oil Low Trip pressure switch
3. Lube Oil Pressure Differential Pressure across Lube Oil Filter
4. Cooling Water Pressure before engine
5. Fuel Oil Pressure Starting Air Pressure
Provide new RTD sensors to replace existing temperature switches and a signal conditioner which will change the signal to 4-20 mA's for the PLC inputs.
Known Temperature Sensors:
1. Cooling Water Temp after engine
2. Cooling Water Temp before engine
3. Lube Oil Temperature before engine
2. CONTROL PANELS
Design, silkscreen and fabricate new engine-side control cabinets. Provide and install new components. The front door of the new enclosure shall have a layout similar to the existing enclosure and waterproof LED's for the various alarms with all switches and pushbuttons required for proper operation. A final version of the layout graphics will be sent to the MSCREP for approval before the graphic is etched onto the panel.
Provide and install new GE 90-30 PLC inside the panel. All field devices will be connected to analog and digital inputs. The outputs will be connected to all indicator lights, and alarms, horn, and all operating solenoids.
The new PLC will be programmed to control the engine in a similar way that the existing system does (when it's operating properly).
Provide and install a new Operator Interface Terminal (OIT) in the door of the panel. This will allow troubleshooting of alarms and shutdowns, and all the pressures and temperatures can be displayed.
3. REMOTE MONITORING HARDWARE
Provide an additional larger OIT for AMR Control Room, which will be capable of monitoring the data from all 4 generators. Provide an ethernet switch for this application which will be used to network all four generators and the TMS Trender computer in the engine room console.
Provide an additional ethenet switch for the engine room console, to connect the TMS 2000 system Trender.
Develop new HMI screens within the TMS Trender to display the data from the generators.
