Military Sealift Command Norfolk has a requirement for the USNS FALL RIVER (JHSV-4) for Post Shakedown/Dry-Dock (PSA/DD) availability, on/about 15 June 2015 for 60 days. The place of performance will be a Contractors facility on the East/Gulf Coast.
While the finalized list of work items is still under development, a list of the notional work package items is as follows:
Dry Docking: Anode Replacement, Sea Valve and Sea Chest Inspection, Inspect, Waterjets,Modify Mission Bay Lighting, Marine Evacuation System Annual Cert, Flight Deck Tie Down Fitting Inspect, Stores Crane Maintenance, Rescue Boat and Davit Annual Inspection, Switchboard Cleaning, SCBA Annual Certification, Galley Duct Cleaning, Firefighting Annual Certification, Laundry Duct Cleaning, Renew NAVIBS/Radio Safety Survey, Annual Stern Ramp Maintenance.
Please provide a response demonstrating your firm's experience in performing similar work. This procurement will be solicited under NAICS Code 336611, Ship Building and Repair, which has a size standard of 1,000 employees. Indicate if your company is a large or small business, and if a small business, indicate if you fall within any of the further classifications (Hubzone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.)
