•16. Description: THIS IS A SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quote or proposal and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. USNS BURLINGTON (T-EPF 10) is tentatively scheduled for a Post Shakedown Availability and Dry Docking (PSA/DD) ship repair availability beginning October 7, 2019, with a performance period of 75 days. The USNS BURLINGTON (T-EPF 10) has a length of 338 Ft, A Beam of 93.5 Ft, and is 2,460 tons. The purpose of this notice is to inform all potential offerors that Military Sealift Command (MSC) will be releasing a RFP on/or about May 19, 2019.
•a. Duration of the contract period: October 7, 2019 with a performance period of 75 days
•c. Upon issuance, the solicitation and supporting documentation will be posted and can be found on Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.FBO.GOV/) under solicitation number N3220519R6712. All requests must provide Dun and Bradstreet number and Cage Code.

•17. The decision to set aside this procurement as 100% small business set-aside was made resulting from Market Research. Previous procurements for this supply have shown that there is an expectation to receive quotes from two or more small businesses. MSC Small Business office is in concurrence with the contract specialist decision to synopsize/solicit this procurement as 100% small business set-aside.
