To be considered as a potential source for this requirement, a Contractor must submit company capability information pertaining to their ability to meet the requirements in accordance with the attached Draft Performance Work Statement (Draft PWS). This must include the capability to perform taskings outlined in the Draft PWS.
The purpose of this RFI is for NSWC to:
1. Determine the availability of the required services as a commercial item
2. Obtain market information regarding potential suppliers of the required maintenance support services
3. Determine the availability of any potential sources which possess the capability to provide the required items via an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract
4. Obtain information for a future solicitation as to how a prospective company would provide the required services
5. Determine the availability for the required services to be provided as a multiple or single award IDIQ.
This notice is for market research and planning purposes only and does not obligate the Government to any contractual agreement. This is not a request for quote or proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses, nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted, nor will respondents be notified of the review of the information received. The information obtained from this RFI will be used as market research for consideration in development of the acquisition for the Government's requirement. The Government will not reimburse interested sources for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in Fed Biz Opps (http://www.fedbizopps.gov). It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any synopsis or solicitation.
Prospective sources possessing the capability to provide the services described above are invited to submit comments and include a magnitude and capabilities statement. Other information that will allow the Government to formulate a strategy will be considered.
Submissions should be limited to no more than three pages, including the cover page. Submissions containing proprietary data must be clearly marked. The cover page and each page containing proprietary data must include the marking. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to clearly define to the Government what is considered proprietary data.
The submission should clearly indicate the Contractor name and address, business size, identification of any socio-economic program(s), CAGE/DUNS identifiers, and verification that the NAICS code identified is appropriate or provide suggestions with supporting rationale as to why it is not appropriate.
