This is a special notice provided for informational purposes only, prepared in accordance with FAR 5.2- Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) Joint Administrative Operations, Acquisition and Property Operations, Goods and Services Operations located at 911 NE 11th Ave. Portland, OR 97232 plans to issue an award in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) to Wetland Equipment Company, Inc. The Service intends to award single source to Wetland Equipment Company, Inc. to ensure that repairs are safe and thorough and due to the custom nature of the machine and the repairs required as well as their knowledge of the machine, having custom manufactured it. For this reason, it has been determined that Wetland Equipment Company, Inc. is the only vendor able to fulfill these requirements. This notice is not a request for proposal/quote or invitation for bid. A solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with this notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the proposed services can provide supporting documents demonstrating capability for future reference. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred in response to this notice.
