USDA Forest Service, National Forests in North Carolina has a requirement for Manual Crop Tree Release on 184 acres on the Croatan Ranger District, New Bern North Carolina.  Release treatment will include but not be limited to locating longleaf pine seedlings, saplings, and pole timber and then cutting all other woody stems less than 8" DBH regardless of proximity to longleaf.
