USDA Forest Service, National Forests in North Carolina, Nantahala Ranger District has a requirement for site prep with hand tools on 227 acres. Work will include but not be limited to making decisions to cut or leave trees based on species, condition, and density.
The ability to recognize and distinguish southern Appalachian Hardwood tree species is imperative for the successful completion of this contract.
