Industry Day for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services

Date: Thursday February 9th, 2012

• First Session from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
• Second Session from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Location: GSA Building, 301 7th Street SW. Washington, DC 20407. (Auditorium)

The Government will provide a presentation summarizing the mission of and programs within U.S. Citizenship and Immigrations Services (USCIS). The agenda is provided below and includes two identical sessions. Following the presentation there will be an opportunity to ask questions about USCIS contracting opportunities.

Agenda:
• Introduction to Contracting/Overview of USCIS (60 mins)
• AAP/Acquisition Forecasting System Overview (15 mins)
• New Procurements and Strategies Discussion with Q&A (60 mins)
• DHS Strategic Sourcing Opportunities (30 mins)
• DHS OSDBU Mentor-Protégé Program (30 mins)
USCIS Chief Information Officer (30 mins)
• Networking/Closing (15 mins)

Businesses that are interested in attending this event should register via email to Sylwia Salkic, [email protected] by Friday February 3rd, 2012. Due to limited space you will receive a confirmation email back notifying you that you have been added to the list of attendees. Not more than one representative per company will be allowed to attend due to space constraints. Please provide the attendees full name as well as a back up attendee's full name. Also, in your email please indicate which session you would like to attend, whether you are a large or small business, your email, and a phone number.

Inclement weather policy will follow OPM guidelines for any delays or cancelations.

Any items being brought into the building will have to be screened by security.
