The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Medium Endurance Cutter (MEC) Product Line, intends to award a firm, fixed price Contract to supply all labor and materials to remove existing lead ballast ingots in compartment 4-16-0-K, Flammable Liquid Storeroom, clean the entire compartment of lead dust in accordance with supplied work item, wipe sample compartment and submit for lab analysis with results below minimal threshold. The contractor will then install the GFE supplied epoxy powder coated lead ballast ingots in accordance with the supplied work item.
