The purpose of this Market Survey is to seek information regarding the availability of layberth facilities and services to be contracted by the Government for Large, Medium-Speed, Roll-On/Roll-Off ships (LMSRs) and to identify sources that are capable of providing a berth for up to three (any class) LMSRs. Layberths can be in a nested or un-nested configuration. Interested parties should provide the estimated daily cost for supplying a layberth facility on the U.S. West Coast. The fixed priced cost shall include a security perimeter with 24 hour guard service, sewage and garbage disposal for up to three ships, and parking for a minimum of 40 vehicles. The West Coast layberth facility must be capable of delivering reimbursable services including steam, potable water, electricity, and telephone services.
